The ZEOCAT3D European Project has recently completed its first year of development, where TECNAN participates, together with other European companies and research entities, with the goal of developing zeolite-based nano-catalysts, using 3D technology for the direct conversion of methane into aromatic hydrocarbons.
Due to the global pandemic situation related to Covid-19, the general meeting of the consortium for the 12th month had to be held telematically, instead of being held at Demokritos’ facilities (Athens) as planned. Despite these drawbacks, the videoconference was carried out satisfactorily, and the tasks that are being carried out by all the consortium were debated and specified.
More deeply, during the meeting, TECNAN presented the advances related to the production of nanoparticles addressed to be combined with zeolites, as well as addressed to other points of the reaction system.
