At the beginning of October, the M42 meeting of the ZEOCAT-3D project took place. In it each of the project participants presented the last improvements made in their respective activities. ZEOCAT-3D is nearing the end of its development and therefore most of the work packages have been completed, especially those focused on laboratory scale work.
In this final stage of the project, the efforts are focused on scaling up the process, building the reactor and defining and adjusting the final testing conditions, in addition to carrying out the last impregnation tests and monolith preparation (new compositions). Despite having completed its main activities, Tecnan’s team is collaborating closely with Lurederra on finalizing the last adjustments and fine-tuning of the monolith impregnations to better optimize and define the scaling of the process.
Moreover, Tecnan also provides support in the environmental and social analysis activities. Regarding the social analysis, a questionnaire has been created, which has been disseminated among different sectors and social groups. In mid-February we will proceed to collect and analyse all the answers received. A complete evaluation of the project is intended to be carry out within the final of it, including analysing the people’s point of view and potential interests.
