TECNADIS MULTICOAT ANTICORROSION is a high-performance corrosion protector (C4-C5 high) for metals exposed to aggressive environments. It is based on a dispersion of ceramic and metallic nanoparticles that provide advanced and long-lasting cathodic protection.
- Metallic grey finish protector of high hardness and great adhesion, with the option of including non-stick property.

Product information
- Metallic grey nano protector that provides advanced and long-lasting cathodic protection.
- Coating of high corrosion resistance, Category C4-C5 High (meeting the criteria of tests carried out on carbon steel based on the UNE EN ISO 12944-6:2018 Standard).
- The final standard thickness of the coating will depend on the corrosion resistance properties sought and may vary from 15-50 microns, approximately.
- It creates a protective layer of metallic finish that works as a cathodic protection on metals, reducing the deterioration caused by external agents such as water, ice, humidity, rust, saltpetre, corrosion, UV radiation, as well as natural deterioration caused by dirt or scratches.
- High durability.
- It provides hardness to the treated surface.
- Room temperature curing. It does not require heat. However, the curing process can be accelerated with temperatures of 120-130°C for 1 hour.
- Resistant to temperatures of 140-150°C.
- Resistant to solvents and cleaning products.
- Easy application, using aerosol or spray gun.
- It features great adhesion to surfaces.
- Re-applicable. It is possible to repair damaged areas without having to remove the previous coating remains. If necessary, it can be removed by surface polishing.
How to use
- Surface preparation: The metal surface must be clean and dry before application. Avoid the presence of dust or solid particles of any kind on the surface. It is recommended to completely remove all traces of rust or corrosion. For high corrosion protection, remove paints, varnishes or previous treatments, as well as any traces of rust and corrosion. Degrease the surfaces to be protected with appropriate solvents or cleaners.
- Application:
- Shake the container vigorously before use to ensure homogeneity of the product.
- Spray evenly over the surface until the desired finish is achieved (avoiding over-spraying and sagging as far as possible). It is recommended to apply the product by means of a compressed air sprayer, electric airless sprayer or automated spraying systems for industrial series.
- Curing:
- At room temperature: Dry-to-touch 4 hours. Complete curing after 1-2 weeks.
- Oven: 120-130°C for 1 hour.
