Tecnología Navarra de Nanoproductos S. L. (TECNAN Ltd.) produces y commercialises at industrial level simple and complex nano-oxides as well as other high performance nanoproducts for multisectoral applications establishing TECNAN Ltd. as one of the most competitive suppliers of these new materials nationwide as well as at international level.
TECNAN, founded in December 2007 and owned in equal shares by L’Urederra Technological Centre and by SPRIN (Sociedad para la Promoción de Inversiones e Infraestructuras de Navarra), is strongly supported not only by the innovative technologies developed in L’Urederra but also by the service and support commitment of SPRIN to the development and promotion of the Navarrean industrial network
The flexibility of the methodology employed enables the preparation of a wide range of nanoproducts according to client’s specifications and those varied nanomaterials have applications in very different sectors, e.g. automotive catalysts, energy sector, construction of gas and pollutant sensors, photo-catalysts, electronic and photovoltaic materials, cosmetic, paint and varnish, etc.
Besides its service commitment to the industrial sector, to quality in its products and to continuous improvement of products and productive processes, the competitive advantage of TECNAN
is its outstanding production capacity (from tens to hundreds of kilograms) maintaining excellent quality and purity; and thus, being able to satisfy a wide variety of client requests.
TECNAN uses advanced nanosynthesis techniques, which enable the commercialisation of nano-oxides and other nano-compounds (carbonates, phosphates...) of more than 60 elements from the periodic system. Moreover, these techniques result in the production of nanomaterials at a very competitive cost and in a flexible and environmentally friendly way, since no waste or by-products are generated.
TECNAN is a company committed to the continuous improvement of its products and is constantly expanding its catalogue, marketing nanoparticles with increasingly lower sizes and diversifying the structural possibilities of the nanoparticles offered to its clients. The company is currently supplying nanoproducts to large European corporations, as well as different commercial samples to technologically leading European and non-European SMEs and to well known research organisations.
